The brightest stars of the constellation Pyxis α (3.68mag), β (3.97mag) and γ Pyxidis (4.01mag) lie almost in a straight line. The constellation is poor for observers with a binocular or small telescope, but there are a few fainter open clusters, galaxies and planetary nebulae. ![<]($IMG_DIR/cons/Pyx.png)
