a binary observed 3 degrees southeast of Procyon, at the western end of the E-W belt of bright stars. In small telescopes it shows a nice yellow 7.6mag and a blue 9.6mag component, fainter copies of the star Eta of Cassiopeia. At higher magnifications, the guide may take on a purple hue. Offset 21.7".
