only an optical binary star, on a good night distinguishable to the naked eye. The stars (4.6mag, 6mag) lie almost 6 arc minutes apart. However, Gamma EQU also has an 11th mag physical companion that lies 2" apart. At least a 150mm telescope is needed to see it. They are 118 light years away.
