After the nova, which appeared in the Aquila constellation in 389 and became brighter like Venus, astronomers witnessed another one in 1918. It became the brightest star in the constellation and the second brightest star in the sky, reaching -1.1 magnitude. Today, it cannot be observed with the naked eye or even with a telescope, as it only reaches 10.8 magnitude.
