One of the most famous objects in the constellation, a recurrent nova with a minimum magnitude of 16. During unexpected outbursts that occur every 12 to 25 years, its brightness increases to 6-7 magnitude. Such outbursts were recorded in 1890, 1902, 1920, 1944, and 1966.
