After Nova, which appeared in Eagle in 389 and became brighter than Venus, astronomers were treated to another in 1918. It became the brightest star in the constellation and the second brightest star in the sky after the spread, reaching -1.1mag. Today it is not visible to the naked eye, not even a trier, reaching only 10.8mag.
