a well-known binary whose two white components have a brightness of about 5.65mag, but appear to the naked eye as a single 5th magnitude point. The mutual orbital period of the two partners is over 812 years. By the end of the 20th century, the two stars were about 1.9" apart and required higher magnification to separate them. This is therefore a good test for a good 100mm telescope. The system is 89 light years from Earth.
