at its maximum of 3mag to 5mag, this long-period variable star located in the southwestern part of the constellation is visible to the naked eye, while in 6 to 7 months or up to 406 days it reaches its minimum around 13th to 14th mag. It is the brightest star of this type after Mira Ceti itself. A suitable comparison star is η Cygni (3.89mag). |
