a remarkable triple star located 200 light years away. The two brighter components are 7.2" apart and have brightnesses of 4.4mag and 9.4mag. To resolve them, we need a telescope with a lens diameter of 6 to 8 cm. In a good 100 instrument, a third guide of 10.4mag will also show up at a distance of 69.6" from the main white star (the second component appears dull yellow). |
